A Rosemaling cake, unique to Minot!

Is there anything more "Minot" than a rosemaling inspired anniversary cake? Nope!

I use Swiss Meringue buttercream to paint a rosemaling inspired design on the cake. The matching painted macarons were such a perfect addition!

We’ve been having a fun fall visiting Woodland Park and Berry Acres Pumpkin Patch here in Minot, North Dakota. We are soaking up every bit of autumn before winter starts. We miss Hostfest, but a rosemaling cake is a pretty good consolation!
