Autumn landscape for a Bottineau ND wedding
Autumn doesn't last forever, and neither does cake. But both sure do make life lovely!
This gorgeous buttercream landscape cake was for a wedding at Annie’s House near Lake Metigoshe. The weather was so beautiful that day!
Inside the painted exterior is delicious chocolate cake. I heard from that family that it was a huge hit! Someone who lives at The View in Minot with my husband’s grandma told her it was the best buttercream she’s ever had. What a lovely report!
When you pick up a cake like this to travel, be sure you keep it chilled during the whole trip. You don’t want it to fall over during that drive up the mountain. But as long as it is kept chilled, the cake will do great. It can come to room temperature during the reception and be perfect for cutting.
